Game from the Rhön, pork from Rhön Biosphere pigs supplied by the Mihm butcher's in Tann, plus juicy Black Angus steaks and vegetarian dishes. We have been friends with our suppliers for decades.

Our kitchen follows the seasons: asparagus in early summer, pumpkin and chanterelles in autumn, game in the colder months and our own beer garden menu in summer.

A view from every table

Through the floor-to-ceiling windows of our conservatory, you can look out over Künzell all the way to the Rhön. In the snow, at sunset or on a clear summer's day: the view is different every time, and beautiful every time.

Our beer garden: summer evenings overlooking Fulda

Since 1983, our guests have spent their summers beneath the old lime trees, with around 400 square metres of space and views over Künzell and Fulda to the Rhön. In the evening the lanterns come on and it gets wonderfully cosy.

Autumn – a time for good food

Our autumn menu, for as long as pumpkins and chanterelles are in season

Our opening hours don’t apply to your celebration. We’ll agree the day and time with you individually – Mondays included.

Beer garden

In fine weather you can sit beneath the lanterns with a view over Künzell. In summer we have our own beer garden menu.
