Everything on one hill
Together with the venerable fortified church dating from 915, our house forms an ensemble you won't find anywhere else. You exchange your vows in the church, raise a glass outside beneath old lime trees and celebrate just a few steps away in the function room.
Nobody has to drive, and nothing needs organising that isn't already here. And at the end of the evening, bed is just a flight of stairs away.

In the venerable fortified church, or as a celebrant-led ceremony on the garden terrace.
Reception
Chilled drinks right outside the church, followed by coffee and cake on the terrace. There's plenty of room for the children to run around.
Photos
The church, old lime trees and the view across the Rhön: this is where the loveliest wedding photos are taken.
Celebration
Dinner in the function room, then dancing late into the night.
Overnight stay
It's not far to bed: 18 guest rooms in the house.

You decorate, we serve
Whether boho with dried flowers and pampas grass, roses and eucalyptus or a maritime theme with shells: you bring the decorations and flowers yourselves, entirely to your own taste. We provide the basics: tablecloths, napkins, glasses, cutlery and, if you wish, chair covers.
And then we're there for you. With us, you and your guests are still served at the table. Nobody has to fetch their own drinks or lay their own places, as has become the norm at many venues. You celebrate, we take care of the rest.

Questions about your wedding
Who takes care of decorating and laying the tables?
We provide tablecloths, napkins, glasses, cutlery and, if you wish, chair covers. You bring the decorations and flowers yourselves. On the day itself, you and your guests are served at the table by our service team, so you don't have to worry about a thing.
Will you send us a quote?
No, we do things differently for weddings: we invite you to a no-obligation first meeting with us at Der Florenberg. That way you get a real feel for the church, the function room and the terrace, and we plan your day together rather than on paper.
Can you get married in the church on the Florenberg?
Yes, the old fortified church stands right next to our house. For a church wedding, please speak to the parish responsible; we're happy to help you get in touch.
Is a celebrant-led ceremony possible?
Yes, in fine weather on our garden terrace, surrounded by greenery and with views of the Rhön.
How many wedding guests does the function room hold?
Up to 110 guests can celebrate in Saal Kilian. For a reception outdoors, the garden terrace has room for up to 220 people.
Can wedding guests stay overnight with you?
Yes, we have 18 double rooms in the house, and the next morning there's breakfast together.
