Christenings & First Communions

The first big day in a child’s life. Lunch with a set menu, coffee and cake on the terrace in the afternoon, while the children run around outside in the fresh air.

Birthdays & anniversaries

From 18th to 90th. Whether a cosy get-together in Saal Flora or a big party in Saal Kilian with dancing into the night.

Company & Christmas parties

An evening for your team with views of the Rhön and a set menu or buffet of your choice. Anyone who’d rather not drive home simply stays the night.

Funeral receptions (Tröster)

In difficult times, we take the organisation off your hands. Calmly, with dignity and at short notice if needed.

Rather than sending you a quote by post, we invite you to come and talk to us in person. You can look round the rooms, and together we’ll plan the menu, the running order and everything that matters to you.

Questions about your celebration

How many guests can you host?

From a small gathering of 10 to a large celebration with 110 guests in Saal Kilian. In summer, the garden terrace has room for up to 220 guests. The rooms can be combined.

Will I receive a written quote?

We prefer to plan celebrations in person. That’s why we invite you to an informal, no-obligation meeting with us at the Florenberg. There you can see the rooms, and we’ll agree the menu, running order and your wishes directly with you.

Do I need to lay the tables or fetch drinks myself?

No. We lay the tables with tablecloths, napkins, glasses and cutlery, and chair covers on request. You bring your decorations and flowers. During the celebration your guests are served at the table by our team.

Set menu or buffet?

Either is possible. We’ll gladly put together suggestions for you, from coffee and cake to a festive set menu or a buffet with Rhön specialities.

Can guests stay overnight with you?

Yes, we have 18 double rooms in the house. That way everyone can join in the celebration without worrying about the drive home, and the next morning you can all enjoy breakfast together.

Do you also cater for a funeral reception (Tröster)?

Yes. We take care of coffee, cake and filled rolls quietly and reliably, even at short notice. Simply give us a call.

Can you host celebrations outside your opening hours?

Yes. For private parties we are also here for you on Mondays and at other times. Just get in touch.
